Randall's food fight

Top 14 – Group 2 - not a bad second live show. I think this group were marginally stronger than last weeks' group. Lloyd and Elvis stood out, and I like Funeka (but maybe I'm biased). I guess Zinthle and Jamie-Lee will be in the bottom three on Tuesday night.

Apart from Liezel's inability to say here and huge (she still says Yeeere and Yew-j), Randall seemed in good spirits (if not a little obsessed with new music - maybe he's aware of his own advancing age). Mara and Judith got on well -  both of them agreed that they hate being called "legend" or "diva" off-camera... but we all know they are!

Song choice is such a big deal, don't you think? A good choice of song can almost certainly put someone ahead for the week; just as a bad song choice can totally screw a good singer over. Could you think of a song that would work it's charms without fail?

Backstage there's a battle going on between Randall and the producers about food.

Randall wants a chicken salad before every show. Last week they brought him a Tikka chicken pasta. He moaned and complained all night. This week they brought him a chicken/butternut/eggplant salad. He whined again. Heavan knows what they'll bring him next week. If he's so fussy maybe he should eat at home?

The Idols team brought me a fantastic cake for my birthday, but I left it in the boot of my car and the only person who'll eat it now is Damon.

Next week it's down to the Top 10 and that's where the real business starts.

Yes, I agree - eat at home if you dont like the food! Sheesh and there are some people out there starving and would do anything for a tikka chicken pasta :(
