One could easily call Meryl Streep the Iron Lady of acting.

And to confirm this statement Streep will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Berlin film festival on 14 February, The Guardian reported.

Streep will receive the Honorary Golden Bear Award. This comes after her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady.

Chances are great that she could also take home one more Oscar on 26 February. The Berlin film festival director Dieter Kosslick describes Streep as “a brilliant, versatile performer who moves with ease between dramatic and comedica roles.”

Some of the best-known films of Streep’s career will also be displayed during the festival. This includes Kramer vs Kramer (for which she won an Oscar as best supporting actress), Sophie’s Choice (for which she won an Oscar as best actress), Out of Africa and The Bridges of Madison County.
