Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner stars in the new romantic movie, Valentine’s Day. Let’s catch up on what’s been happening in his life.
KEEPING IN SHAPE
Taylor (18) says it’s been tough maintaining his muscular physique between New Moon and Eclipse, the upcoming third film in the Twilight saga. “It’s definitely a challenge,” he says. “It’s just as hard to keep it on as it was to put it on originally.”
Apart from working out daily Taylor’s diet consists of mostly low-fat proteins such as skinless chicken breasts, egg whites, vegetables and fruit.
He says Twilight fans can look forward to Eclipse being very much like the book. “If you’ve read the books you know what’s coming but it gets really exciting. There’s definitely a lot more action. It gets good.” We can’t wait!
IN LOVE
Rumour has it Taylor has been miserable since his split with Valentine’s Day co-star and singer Taylor Swift. Insiders say he wants her back now they’ve both moved to Los Angeles and have some time between his filming and her recording. “He whole-heartedly believes they have something special and that it’s worth fighting for,” an insider says.
“Swift wants to channel her energy into her career but he isn’t accepting her rejection. The way he sees it this is nothing more than a minor setback in an enduring love affair.”
Taylor recently let slip about the kind of women he doesn’t want. We hope he’s not referring to his ex! “I just want someone who can be themselves, not put on a show,” he says. “It’s as simple as that.”
THE NEXT SPIDEY?
Taylor is the latest actor rumoured to star as the superhero in Spider-Man 4. Tobey Maguire has pulled out to star in The Hobbit, leaving a gap for Hollywood’s ambitious young stars. Initially it was thought Robert Pattinson would take over the role but his spokesperson has denied this.
Valentine’s Day, in cinemas from 12 February, is a romantic comedy that features one of the largest all-star ensemble casts ever. It’s about the intertwining stories of love that take place over the course of one Valentine’s Day.
Apart from Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift, who play athletic teenagers in love, the film also stars Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel. And Joe Jonas voices Morley, the dog of Jessica Alba’s character. How funny!
