Rosé sangria

Makes 2,25 litres
Preparation time: 10 min


1 bottle (750 ml) rosé wine
125 ml (½ c) sugar
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
250 ml (1 c) strawberries or other berries, whole or cut into pieces
125 ml (½ c) pomegranate seeds
125 ml (½ c) fresh mint, roughly chopped
500 ml (2 c) lemonade or Sprite Zero
500 ml (2 c) ginger ale
ice cubes to serve

Mix the wine and sugar, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the fruit and mint and chill.

Add the lemonade or Sprite Zero and ginger ale just before serving. Serve with ice cubes.

TIP: Use a can of pineapple chunks instead of the strawberries or berries.
