Ten-year-old model’s provocative photoshoot

She reminds one of a sultry Brigitte Bardot in her heyday – huge blue eyes glancing over a bare shoulder, pouting lips that are both innocent and seductive and wild hair.

But the latest girl to hit the fashion world is just 10.

Thylane Blondeau of France has caused an outcry with sexy fashion photographs showing her dressed as an adult woman. She even appears topless in some of the pictures.

The young model is so popular she is to appear in leading international fashion glossy Vogue later this year.

The January French edition of Vogue shows the girl sprawling on leopard-print sheets wearing gold stilettos and a dress with a plunging neckline.

The photographs have sparked outrage and senior members of parliament in Britain are up in arms.

The pictures of young Thylane are shocking and confuse people’s perceptions of beauty, says the UK branch of international Christian charity organisation Mothers’ Union, which promotes family values.

British prime minister David Cameron supported the statement and Labour Party MP Helen Goodman has said the publication of the pictures is “disgraceful and totally irresponsible”.

“The sexualisation of children is one of the most pernicious ills of our era. They should not have done this. Thylane’s modelling agency clearly doesn’t know if it’s representing a child or an adult,” Goodman said.

money. it is the root of evil. for a parent to sell her own flesh and blood like this. it really is shocking. this is a child for Gods sake. she should be playing outside, watching animation. NOT posing half naked to make a quick buck for her parents. what are they thinking? i hope social services get involved, as these parents clearly read the wrong parenthood book.

Sad that a young girl, with her whole life ahead of her, is another 'sold' to modeling.

it is absolutly disgraceful. are her parents really so thick as to exploit a 10 year old to this, and then when dirty perverts are leering at her and tryin g to get to her the parents will blame these men, your not fit enough to be called a parent.it seems all you want is money while a child wants love, you make me sick.

She doesn't look anything like Brigitte Bardot. Brigitte was natural beach babe well into her 20's in her hey days.
If she is still beautiful in 15 years time, then she should start modelling when she is 25. That is true beauty. An older woman that still kept her looks and looked after herself is much more attractive than a scary masked doll.

It's absolutely SHOCKING to 'use' a 10 year old in this way! Society is constantly bombarded with abuse of children in the most awful way - these pictures make a mockery of the fight against child abuse. Thylane is a beautiful LITTLE girl [emphasis on LITTLE]! Her parents should allow her to be just that - a 10 year old little girl! Instead they are using her to make money......a VERY sad indictment of modern day society.

It seem all our models are getting younger by the day. And what type of parents and photography company allows a young child of Thylane Blondeau's age to pose the way she did. Don't they care about all our young children being targeted by "Paedophiles" and other nasty people ? Then parents want to complain when something terrible happens to our kids. Open up ur eyes and see that this type of modeling is not prohibited.

    Truely sad.
"Adults" raping a child of her inocence and childhood forever to make a short term profit, worse are her parents who have obviously consented to the whole sorid affaire
