If you haven't spotted it yet: YOU’s Knit for Baby booklet contains 17 trendy patterns for babies from birth to two years old.

Patterns range from hats and bootees to jerseys and blankets that are perfect for babies. There are step-by-step instructions for various sizes which are presented in a clear and logical way. Each pattern comes with full-colour photographs to illustrate the end product and its details.

YOU Knit for Baby is the first in a series of knitting booklets from this popular magazine. It costs only R29,95 and on sale from 16 May at selected stores. Each copy also comes with a free ball of yarn from Wollmart Africa in Pretoria.

Good day
I've been knitting dolls clothes ( First Love, Baby Love dolls ) for the retirement home, where my Mom lives, annual bazaar. The problem is I would love to knit more modern outfits for the new dolls available in the shops today. Where can I find such patterns? I always find its a way to use up left-over wool from jerseys knitted in the winter.

So enjoying knitting some of the baby patterns for the new born , donating for babies born to street people at Tygerberg Hospital. Cant wait for Sept issue , been searching but now my question is answered. going to knit toys for orphans next.

JUST after the first booklet went on sale we had to delay the second one due to printing changes but we are hard at work on it and hope you will enjoy it. Please keep an eye on YOU magazine as there is often a pattern in in the first issue of every month.
